Outperform the competition with a complete redesign of the MDM website.
The company MDM contacted me because they had a need for the redesign of their website, so they turned to my expertise in UX/UI Design to create the mockups as well as my knowledge in development to bring these mockups to life. MDM wanted to emphasize accessibility and the understanding of their services as well as the presentation of the company and the Sagaert group.
The Challenge
Create a website illustrating the company and its services without overwhelming the visitor with data. Conduct user testing and carry out competitive research. Design a website and develop it to boost MDM sales through a significant flow of clients via improved SEO. Highlight the multiple services of MDM and introduce the company.
🧓🏻 A really outdated site
The MDM website was no longer competitive compared to what competitors currently offer, whether in terms of vocabulary, design, or user experience. It was necessary to rebuild everything from scratch.
🔑 A turnkey website
MDM wanted to be able to take control of the site once the mission was completed; they needed to be able to create articles without needing to modify the site or design it, so a CMS database was set up along with training.
The solution
Creating a schedule using AGILE methodology
First, I scheduled a meeting with Jacquelin Fauchille, General Manager, to identify the company's requirements and aspirations for the redesign of their website. Collectively, we shaped and clarified the targets of the project timeline, which allowed us to create our roadmap effectively, in order to cooperate quickly. I created a token system that enabled us to provide feedback rapidly.
Visual Identity
Proposal for a more current logo
Creating a logo is a difficult exercise for me. But I still proposed a new logo to MDM to align it with the redesign of the site, but unfortunately, the team is too attached to the current one and does not want to change it.
Web Design
A design that converts visitors into customers
The new design of the MDM site needed to convert visitors into customers in order to drive an increase in sales of MDM services and an enhancement of the company's presence and value in the online market.
UX Research
Analysis of the existing site and benchmarking
Faced with an outdated and unintuitive website, I conducted a thorough competitor analysis to identify areas for improvement. The user tests, originally planned to be in-person, were adapted to a remote format in order to gather feedback from users. Thanks to this rigorous approach, I was able to propose a complete redesign of the site, meeting MDM's expectations and providing an optimized user experience.
Web Development
Discovery and first time on the CMS: ✨Framer ✨
Rather than directly importing my Figma design, I preferred to build the components manually on Framer. This approach allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the tool and improve my efficiency. The satisfaction of seeing the project take shape, element by element, is incredible.
